Michael Barron was born in Grosse Pointe Michigan on December 7, 1984. Parents:
Pamela and Bill Williams. At the age of four, Michael had a magician for his birthday
party. Noticing his interest, his father gave him a toy magic kit for Christmas, from that point
on Michael had the magic bug. He would practice for hours everyday, and perform for
anyone that would let him. A few years later at ten years old, Michael performed his first
show for money. The fee wasn't particularly impressive but the experience was invaluable.
Michael started performing everywhere. Birthday parties, fairs, banquets, churches, and
even nursing homes were all Michael's magical territory. At the time, living in Sarasota
Florida Michael had already made a name for himself in the local entertainment circut.
Local news stations started to film television spots for Michael and various publications
began to take an interest in his unusual talents.

Around this time, Michael began to enter
magic contests. He took second place in the
Florida state junior contest at eleven years
old. Michael would have no such thing,
second place was not good enough to satisfy his
perfectionist attitude. He returned the next
year with a brand new act. Not only did
Michael win, his scores were so high, that the
judges were forced to place him into the
senior category, a place normally reserved for
those 21 and over. At twelve years old he was
the youngest magician ever to be considered a
state champion, a feat that has not been
approached before or since. Over the next six
years Michael Barron worked on his material,
competing in regional and national
competitions all over the country, with great
success. In the summer of 2002 Michael
entered the International Brotherhood
of Magician's International Gold Medal
Competition. Michael won first place with his
"Illusion of Identity" act titling him as the
number one young magician on the planet. He
was also the only teen in the last two years to be
allowed to compete with the adults in the gold
medal contest.
Michael then went on to study theatre arts at
the Theatre School at DePaul in Chicago on a
talent scholarship. He currently resides in Orlando
Florida where he performs in his own show nightly.
